About Windows 11
Windows 11 is a new operating system from Microsoft, offering the following improvements: a new interface, widget panel, and app store, enhanced multitasking capabilities, and support for Android applications.
Windows 11 is a new operating system from Microsoft, scheduled for release in autumn 2021, which will replace the Windows 10 operating system. The new system features numerous interface changes, a redesigned Start menu, a widget bar, enhanced multitasking capabilities, and several other improvements. Additionally, Windows 11 will be available only for 64-bit systems and devices based on the ARM architecture.
One of the major changes in the redesigned Start menu is that the button is now located in the center of the taskbar. Additionally, the remaining taskbar icons are positioned centrally. Live Tiles have been removed from the Start menu, which is now available as a separate new widget panel that will replace the News & Interests widget. A separate space on the Start menu is reserved for recently used files, including documents from Microsoft 365.
Windows 11 has improved multitasking and simultaneous operation with multiple windows and monitors. The Expand button in the upper-right corner of the window now offers various options for placing apps on the screen when you hover the mouse over it. Docking and detaching features improve window behavior when working with multiple monitors. Additionally, the interface of Windows Explorer and its icons have been updated and redesigned.
The approach to installing system updates has been revised, resulting in the system receiving only one major update per year. Additionally, the faster installation of updates and an indication of the approximate time required for them are announced.
Other major changes include support for running Android apps, a new app store, a Chat app, and security improvements through the mandatory use of the TPM encryption module. Additionally, Windows 11 will remove certain features that were present in previous versions of Windows, such as Timeline, Math Input Panel, and others.
