Xiaomi decided to be the first to present its flagship smartphone in 2021, a couple of days before this very year officially takes over from 2020. This desire of the company is understandable because it is always nice to call your product “the first,” especially since the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset debuts in Mi 11.
The appearance of the Xiaomi Mi 11 has been declassified for quite some time. And if there were no surprises with the front side, the back panel design was redesigned. The camera block now resembles a symbiosis of blocks from the iPhone / Pixel and Mi 10T Pro. Looks pretty good to me. Write what you think in the comments.
The bezels around the 6.81 ″ AMOLED display in Mi 11 are minimal, due to which the smartphone has even become a couple of millimeters smaller in size than the aforementioned Mi 10T Pro with a 6.67 ″ screen. The display in Mi 11 has a resolution of 3200×1440 pixels, the refresh rate is 120 Hz, and the sensor polling rate is 480 Hz. Peak brightness is claimed at 1500 nits. The screen is covered with a protective Gorilla Glass Victus glass.
The hardware platform, as already mentioned, is the Snapdragon 888 chipset with Adreno 660 graphics. The LPDDR5 RAM can be installed in 8 GB or 12 GB. UFS 3.1 onboard storage capacity is either 128 GB or 256 GB.
Three camera modules are responsible for the photo and video capabilities of the Mi 11. The main one is a 108 MP module with an f / 1.85 aperture. The company is 13 MP super-wide with a viewing angle of 123 ° and an aperture of f / 2.4, and a 5 MP macro camera with an aperture of f / 2.4. Supports 8K video recording at 24/30 fps. The front camera has a resolution of 20 MP.
The built-in battery capacity is 4600 mAh. Supports 55W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W wireless reverse charging. Interestingly, there is no PSU included with the Mi 11, but Xiaomi will offer a 65W PSU for free if you need one. However, it is not known how long this action will last. The usual retail price for such an adapter is 99 Yuan (~ 430 UAH).
Mi 11 has two SIM card slots. Each of the bottoms supports 5G. There are Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 modules (Qualcomm TrueWireless Stereo Plus, AAC / LDAC / LHDC / aptX / aptX-Adaptive codecs), GPS, NFC, IrDA, stereo speakers, USB-C port. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the display. The novelty is running MIUI 12, based on Android 11. By the way, Xiaomi today announced a new version of the MIUI 12.5 shell, the release of which is scheduled for 2021.
