Apple Watch users can look forward to significant improvements with the upcoming watchOS 10 update. In addition to focusing on widgets, Bloomberg reports that the update will revamp “all major apps” to utilize better the larger screen sizes of the Apple Watch Ultra.

Enhancements Coming to watchOS 10

Bloomberg’s comprehensive preview of what to expect at WWDC 2023 reveals this exciting detail about watchOS 10. The report further mentions that Apple has set up a dedicated area in Apple Park to showcase the much-anticipated Reality Pro headset.

According to the report, Apple’s objective with watchOS 10 is to enhance the core apps for the Apple Watch Ultra. Mark Gurman states, “Apple is updating all major Apple Watch apps with a new design to take advantage of the larger displays of the Apple Watch Ultra and larger standard watches.”

Apple Watch Ultra users have expressed their desire for app updates since last year’s device release. While the Apple Watch Ultra boasts the largest display among all Apple Watches, many built-in apps and watch faces have yet to utilize this expanded screen real estate fully.
