At the end of June this year, Qualcomm introduced the long-awaited new generation of smartwatch chipsets – Snapdragon Wear 4100 and 4100+. The chips are built using a more modern 12 mm process technology, which should provide better battery life and also offer significant performance gains.
Mobvoi immediately after the release from Qualcomm announced the release of new smartwatches, which will be equipped with one of the chipsets. And it looks like it will be the TicWatch Pro 3 model that appeared on the Amazon UK online store website. The watch is priced at £ 299.99 (about $ 400), with an estimated release date of October 1st.
Unfortunately, the characteristics of the TicWatch Pro 3 have not yet been specified. It is only known that they will be equipped with the regular version of Snapdragon Wear 4100. This means that the device will be deprived of the updated coprocessor, which is responsible for responsiveness and energy saving of the heart rate monitoring function and provides enhanced options for the Ambient Display mode.
