It is based on build 22000.100 released a week ago and offered greater reliability than the Dev channel.

Microsoft has announced the transition of the Windows 11 operating system to the beta testing channel. Pre-beta is build 22000.100 (cumulative update KB5004300), which was first available for installation on July 23. Windows Insider program members who tested Windows 11 at an early stage within a one-month dev channel can now upgrade to a more robust release.
Anyone who wants to upgrade to the beta version of Windows 11 should pay attention to one important point: it requires compatible hardware to work. Microsoft has allowed insiders to install Dev builds of Windows 11 on legacy computers at their own risk as a thank you for helping develop Windows, but this does not apply to the beta channel. Supported processors include 7th generation Intel Core and above or AMD on Zen 1 architecture and above. The amount of RAM must be at least 4 GB. However, owners of PCs with these specifications may be allowed to use the beta version but not install the final (public) version of Windows 11 after its release in the future.

Currently, switching to the beta channel is very simple: you need to select it in the settings of the “Insider Program” section of “Windows Update” and restart the device. It is recommended to hurry up – the possibility will be limited since the transition from the Dev channel to the beta channel is carried out with a complete reinstallation of the OS.
