The SwiftKey keyboard at one time was very fond of users due to the support of the swipe-typing function. This keyboard now has over half a billion downloads on Android, which says a lot.

Despite its popularity, the keyboard lacked one very convenient function until yesterday. It’s about the possibility of direct cursor control. And yesterday this feature was finally added to SwiftKey, although so far only in the beta version of the application.

To switch to control mode, you need to press and hold the spacebar, while it seems that you can control the cursor not only to the left and to the right, but also up and down. By the way, if anything, SwiftKey has been owned by Microsoft since 2016.

Write who uses which keyboard on their smartphone. I prefer Fleksy, for example.
