Despite the fact that Instagram has long replaced albums with photos, sometimes it’s still nice to print some pleasant episode from life. Polaroid has developed a portable instant printer called Hi-Print specifically for these occasions.
The device is very compact and does not require ink to print photos. Hi-Print uses a dye sublimation process for maximum ease of use. The size of the resulting images is 54×86 mm. The printer comes with two cartridges, each of which can print 20 photos.
The printer is controlled using a smartphone. Bluetooth is used for connection. The Polaroid Hi-Print will go on sale on September 10 for about $ 100. Replacement cartridges for 20 shots will cost $ 17 apiece.
