NVIDIA has officially announced the GeForce Special Event on September 1st. With a high degree of probability, we can assume that within the framework of this event, the official announcement of the new generation GeForce RTX 30 video cards with GPU based on the Ampere architecture will take place.

The GeForce Special Event will be hosted by NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang. Apparently, the video will be recorded in advance, as the company did not mention the live broadcast. At least two GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards are expected to be unveiled during this event: the RTX 3080 Ti and the RTX 3080.

“NVIDIA will broadcast the GeForce Special Event featuring Founder and CEO Jen-Hsun Huang on September 1 at 9 am PT (7 pm Kyiv time – ed.).

During the event, Huang will talk about the company’s latest innovations in games and graphics. Tune in to https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/special-event/ “NVIDIA said in a statement.

We also add that the countdown to this event has started on the NVIDIA GeForce website. The company also makes a small excursion into the history of its products there.

Previously, September 9 and August 31 were named as the likely date for the announcement of the GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards with a GPU based on the Ampere architecture.
