The information that Apple may stop putting chargers in boxes with new iPhones began to appear several months ago. Not everyone then unambiguously perceived this information, however, one gets the impression that everyone has already come to terms with this. Apple simply stated during yesterday’s presentation of the iPhone 12 that the bundle will consist directly of the smartphone itself and the Lightning – USB-C cable. There will be no power supply or headphones.

Of course, Apple does this to reduce its negative impact on the environment. The company generally aims to be carbon neutral by 2030. Therefore, the boxes of the new iPhones will become much more compact and get rid of unnecessary accessories. By the way, the company did this with the Apple Watch, presented last month.

By the way, older Apple smartphones, which continue to be produced, will also lose accessories. This applies to the iPhone XR, iPhone 11, and iPhone SE.

Another interesting piece of news concerns the cost of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini models. Apple has announced that their prices will start at $ 799 and $ 699, respectively. But only Verizon or AT&T mobile operators in the USA can buy them at this price.

In any other case (buy from T-Mobile, Sprint or unlocked) you will have to pay an additional $ 30. In total, the starting price of the iPhone 12 is $ 829, the iPhone 12 mini is $ 729. Interestingly, this trick does not apply to Pro models. The iPhone 12 Pro can be purchased for $ 999 and the iPhone 12 Pro for $ 1099.
