In the second episode of Night City Wire on Cyberpunk 2077, the developers of CD Projekt Red not only showed fresh footage of the gameplay, but also revealed a lot of new details – about the available weapons, the past life of the main character V, as well as the music group Refused, which recorded the songs of the Samurai group from Cyberpunk 2077, led by Johnny Silverhand (portrayed and voiced by Keanu Reeves in the game).

Players will be able to choose from three life paths of the protagonist (Nomad, Street Kid and Corpo), on which the passage of the game will depend (introduction, starting location, dialogues and relationships with other characters). A short teaser video with introductory footage of each of the three start options was shown at the presentation.

Cyberpunk 2077 will have three main types of firearms – power, technology, and smart. The first is analogous to traditional bullet firearms; the second type has a higher expansion force and fires metal projectiles, enhanced by an electromagnetic pulse, capable of piercing a wall; the third type of weapon is capable of tracking targets in real time and firing homing bullets.

New weapons will be sold in stores, but the most powerful ones are in the hands of opponents, and also hidden in secret caches. By the way, all weapons are classified according to their rarity, from common to legendary. Only legendary weapons will have some unique capabilities, and getting such weapons will be very difficult.

Finally, the third teaser video reveals how the Swedish rock band Refused became Samurai with Johnny Silverhand at the helm. From the teaser footage, Cyberpunk 2077 will have flashbacks with Silverhand appearing as a playable character.
