Just in time for the release of the hotly anticipated sequel to “The Mandalorian” in the Star Wars universe (recall, the second season starts at the online cinema Disney + this Friday, October 30), but, alas, it is not made of beskar, but of plastic.
And although it was not made of beskar, the artists did their best to make it as authentic as possible: the pattern on the controller and charging stand imitates Mandalorian armor – it contains familiar elements (scuffs and clan symbols), and a poster about the reward for capture of baby Yoda.
A special edition of the branded Xbox controller will go on sale December 31 (Microsoft has already opened pre-orders in its online store). Fans of The Mandalorian will have to fork out – buying a stylized version of the controller will cost $ 170, while the usual set of controller and charging station costs $ 100 ($ 60 + $ 40).
The controller can be used with both the Xbox One model and the upcoming Xbox Series X | S consoles, as well as PCs and mobile devices.
