Chinese sources say Apple will phase out the iPad mini lineup as the iPhone grows in size.
According to local media reports, the Cupertino-based company is preparing a large foldable iPhone with Apple Pencil support. The device is expected to feature an OLED panel that will range from 7.3 to 7.6 inches. Recall that the iPad mini 5 has a 7.9-inch screen diagonal. However, a large iPhone can be folded in half and easily fit into a pocket or small purse.
According to the latest data, the first foldable smartphone from Apple will be presented in September 2022. At the same time, Apple will finally ditch the famous notch that houses the front camera and speaker.
The device is expected to be priced around $1,500.
