NUC 11 series: From budget nettop to flagship with discrete graphics!
NUC 11 series computers are based on 11th generation Intel Core processors. There are four models in total: the Performance Panther Canyon is gaming and high-performance one, the Enthusiast Phantom Canyon is a desktop analog, the Pro Tiger Canyon is an embedded system, and the Compute Element is a board for further expansion and integration. We also came to know that Intel discontinued 300 series motherboard chipsets (Z390, Z370, H370).
NUC 11 series: Specifications
The basic version of the series received a dual-core Intel Core i3-1115G4 processor with a maximum clock speed of 4.1 GHz. There are also possible chips Core i5-1135G7 (4 cores / 8 threads, 2.4 / 4.2 GHz) and Core i7-1165G7 (4 cores / 8 threads, 2.8 / 4.7 GHz). All models have DDR4 memory sticks, and Windows Home is preinstalled.
By the way, in addition to the standard configuration, the flagship of the Extreme Mini PC series received an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 video card. And also, 16 GB of RAM and an Optane solid-state drive.
But, not only the “filling” is changing. This series has three body options. The user can choose any of them to his liking. For example, there are options where there are more interface ports, or there is room for a 2.5-inch drive.
