This year Huawei has released quite a few smartphones of the “Nova” series. These include Nova 7i, Nova 7 SE, Nova 7, Nova 7 Pro, and Nova 8 SE. Today, the Chinese manufacturer showed two more smartphones from this line – Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro. Let’s talk about both.

Nova 8 received a 6.57-inch screen with Full HD + resolution (1080 x 2340 pixels), refresh rate up to 90 Hz and the sampling rate of 240 Hz.

Smartphone Nova 8 Pro has a 6.72-inch OLED screen with FHD + resolution (1236 x 2676 pixels), 120 Hz refresh rate and 300 Hz sampling rate.

The Kirin 985 chip is the heart of both smartphones. It is accompanied by 8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal memory. The Huawei Nova 8 has a 3800mAh battery, while the Huawei Nova 8 Pro has a 4000mAh battery. Both phones support fast 66-watt charging.

Smartphones have the same cameras. They have a main 64-megapixel sensor, 8-megapixel wide and two 2-megapixel sensors. The base Nova 8 has a single selfie camera with a 32MP sensor. And the Pro version of the smartphone has a double front camera, with 32 and 16-megapixel sensors.
