Are you not using the Connect to Phone app in Windows 11 or Windows 10? Let’s look at how to remove an application from the system.
Recently, Microsoft renamed the “Your Phone” app to “Connect with Your Phone” and updated its interface. The app for Windows and Android connectivity has been around for a long time. In May 2019, Microsoft seriously improved its functionality by introducing the ability to work with messages, keyboard layouts, languages, new screens, etc.
The updated Phone Link app features tab navigation, streamlined setup, and improved notification visibility. The general rebranding of the application itself and the rebranding of the mobile companion application “Connection with Windows” should also be noted.

“Phone Link” works with most Android devices, but Microsoft has partnerships with Samsung and HONOR that result in complete functionality for devices from those manufacturers.
The Connect to Phone app is installed by default and will be automatically updated to the new version through the Microsoft Store. Windows users who don’t need this app can uninstall it.
You can use alternative applications to connect your phone or completely abandon such functionality if you do not need it. Whatever the reason, the Connect to Your Phone app in Windows isn’t hard to remove.
