It has long been known that Google is gearing up to unveil a new Chromecast-enabled TV box at its fall launch. Now we can take a look at the high-quality rendering of the device, thanks to the resource Winfuture.

The device is oval in shape and slightly larger in size than previous generations of Chromecast consoles. An HDMI input is provided for connection to a TV. The remote is made in a minimalistic design, it has volume buttons, a button to call Google Assistant, keys to launch YouTube and Netflix, a navigation wheel, back and home buttons, a source selection key and a power button.

The device is expected to be equipped with an AMLogic S905X2 quad-core chipset and 2GB of RAM. The set-top box will run Android TV. However, there are rumors that the system will receive a rebranding and will be called Google TV.

In terms of cost, there is information that the new Chromecast will be priced at $ 49.99. It will be offered in three colors: Summer melon (pink), Rock candy (gray) and Summer blue (blue).

You can also appreciate the external smart speakers Nest. As you can see, in addition to the blue color that Google showed a couple of months ago, the gadget will be available in the Charcoal and Chalk versions. The technical characteristics of the gadget have not yet been specified.
