Following up on his beautiful Big Starry Sur wallpaper last month, Basic Apple Guy released his latest creations today. Continuing the tradition of the Commander series, this release marks the third year of design development based on the Command symbol. Check out fun iPhone, iPad, Mac wallpapers and multiple t-shirt options.

The usual Apple Guy detailed the new Commander 2023 design on his blog:

Today is the third year I’ve released a collection of wallpapers and clothes on the theme of the command symbol.

In 2023, I wanted to take design in a whole new direction. This year, the Command symbol is made up of negative space produced by hundreds of different Apple products, from the Macintosh to the Apple Watch Ultra. The effect is an explosive new design that looks amazing as a t-shirt and is just as good as a companion wallpaper for all your Apple devices.

He also says, “I’m quite aware that this neon design can shock your retina, which is why I’m also including a subdued monochrome design.”

The regular Apple Guy shares a fantastic combo to try: “disable widgets” and use “full-color design on the lock screen and a non-blurry monochrome screen on the home screen.” Looks wild!
