Last week, Bloomberg and several other sources shared fascinating information, according to which the 2021 MacBook Pro will receive a significant redesign. It will, in particular, include the return of some ports and MagSafe technology. Today, Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman opened the curtain over the new MacBook Air line.
According to him, the MacBook Air will be lighter and thinner than the current generation, have an Apple M1 chipset, and use the same MagSafe charging system as the new MacBook Pros. At the same time, the new generation will be positioned more premium, and it will take a step between the base MacBook Air (current generation) and the MacBook Pro.
The announcement of the new MacBook Air is expected after the presentation of the updated MacBook Pro. Most likely in the second half of this year or 2022. Also, Apple plans to launch a new generation of iMacs this year and a new Mac Pro.
