Bang & Olufsen has introduced a new portable Bluetooth speaker Beolit 20, which resembles a small picnic basket. This is the successor to the Beolit 17, released in 2017.
Bang & Olufsen claims that the new product is capable of playing music at low volume for up to 37 hours in a row, about 8 hours at medium volume and up to 4 hours at maximum. This is 30% longer than its predecessor. A built-in 3200 mAh battery is responsible for autonomy. Charging is done via the USB-C port.
The speaker is equipped with a 5.5 “woofer, three 1.5” drivers and a pair of 4 “passive woofers. For connection to sound sources, Bluetooth 4.2 and 3.5 mm audio jack are provided. The top panel contains keys for playback control, volume control, Bluetooth connection and a power button. In addition, there is also a platform for wireless charging of Qi standard gadgets.
The Bang & Olufsen Beolit 20 will go on sale on October 29 for $ 500.
